Dr. Arent-Fulmer was born in Garland, TX, but spent most of her childhood in Nebraska. She returned to Texas to complete high school and then pursued her Bachelor of Science at Angelo State University. After graduating, she began working full-time at Alvarado Veterinary Clinic and received a Master in Veterinary Forensic Science from the University of Florida. She went on to attend veterinary school at Oklahoma State University and received her Doctorate in May 2021. Dr. Arent-Fulmer came to Tyler Veterinary Center in 2023 from Rogers Animal Hospital in Corsicana, TX. Her passions include horseback riding, hiking, and animal rescue. She is a long-term foster advocate and has rehabilitated many animals in need. Her ultimate dream is to one day own her own clinic and associated animal rescue. She recently married her husband, Lawrence, in 2024, and will now be professionally known as Dr. Fulmer.
